Jaël Barrios

Jael is a talented Canadian hair and makeup artist who studied with the Makeup School in California, but is continually updating her skill set with courses from top industry experts and professionals. Jael moved to Australia 8 years ago and has made her home in the Southern Highlands with her family.

Jael is an International artist who specialises in bridal, glamour, runway, editorial, advertorial, competition makeup and hair styling. She is a relaxed and calm makeup artist who ensures her clients feel beautiful both inside and out, leaving her chair feeling and looking fresh and flawless.

Jael’s experience in the industry, combined with training by some of the industry’s leading professionals, sees her clients transformed into their best selves, whether they are brides, celebrities or year 12 young ladies getting ready for their formals, every face she works on is famous in her eyes.

Living in the Southern Highlands, the majority of Jael’s work is Bridal. She is known for her flawless, natural, radiant look and ensures she delivers the bride complete satisfaction every time. She believes that a makeup artist should not only provide the bride with a makeup look she loves, but also an experience she will never forget.

Jael has also worked with many top labels, designers, photographers and models, including:

The Iconic, Billy Sixes, Sass and Bide, Atmosandhere, Anna Quan, Room To Move, Adam Singer, Lisa Clarke, IFBB, PCA Fitness Competition, and many more, but the highlight of her career so far has been working with Harlotte Cosmetics at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.

Jael will travel all over Sydney for group bookings, advertorial, corporate or runway as well as the South Coast and the Southern Highlands.
